This is an exciting volunteering opportunity to support the projects ECO Waste and Recycling to explore and create a sustainable policy. The ideal volunteer would be a student or environmental officer to bring about awareness of disposal waste.

What You'll Do:

The aim is to help deliver a customer-focused service in the areas of waste collection, waste awareness, and waste strategy. There are significant changes in the commercial and domestic waste refuse as we work towards a sustainable city, so this is an interesting and exciting time to explore and take advantage of making a change.

As a volunteer you will help:

  • To support the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of the project’s recycling strategy and action plans.
  • To look at ways of engaging and networking with other stakeholders to develop recycling partnerships.
  • To develop, support and where appropriate lead the development of recycling services and initiatives that; increase performance, deliver efficiencies and ways to redistribute in a sustainable way.

Why You'll Love It:

In all efforts to donate to charities and organizations, our vision is to support the reduction of landfill waste and suppress the economic and environmental impacts of lengthy decomposition rates. The aim of the community project is to promote recycling and to rejuvenate and upcycle unwanted items; taking the lead on a local level, efforts to increase on improved recycling operations and give back to communities by supporting people in need.  This is our paramount concern and the focus of the project, awareness, and practice.

What You'll Learn:

Supporting a community project with educating the awareness it's is delivery to service-to-service users in need of essential living items, reducing the waste impact to landfill, and being part of an eco-campaign to recycle. Our success comes from the number of donated items received and distributed to various people of need the homeless, vulnerable people and families, refugees & asylum seekers, schools, and community groups.Continuous improvement is also vital, and we challenge ourselves to develop new and innovative ways to improve the services that make a real difference to people's lives.
