You'll also be on hand to trouble shoot for any issues patients may have with their visit, and provide information and support to those who need it.
As a Friends volunteer you'll be able to provide small, but kind actions that go a long way for those living with eye conditions/visual impairment.
It'll give you a great sense of purpose and will give you experience and skills that can be transferred into any career path.
You'll learn a lot including interpersonal skills, and will gain experience of a hospital-setting.
We are looking for patient, calm and empathetic volunteers who are willing to support our patients.
