Friends of Moorfields Volunteers - Croydon

What You'll Do:

As a Friends of Moorfields volunteer, you'll be at the front-line of providing emotional and physical support to patients with visual impairment and to ensure Moorfields provide an excellent service. Some of the tasks we'll need you to complete could include leading and guiding patients around the clinics, providing advice and information about services with support from our ECLO and to hand-hold anxious patients who will be having surgery on site.

Why You'll Love It:

As a Friends volunteer you'll be able to provide small, but kind actions that go a long way for those living with eye conditions/visual impairment.

It'll give you a great sense of purpose and will give you experience and skills that can be transferred into any career path.

What You'll Learn:

You'll learn a lot including interpersonal skills, and will gain experience of a hospital-setting.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for patient, calm and empathetic volunteers who are willing to support our patients.
