Drinks Trolley Host

The Drinks Trolley visits our wards twice a day offering our patients free alcoholic & soft refreshments.

What You'll Do: 
  • It is a much loved service, run entirely by volunteers, who serve a choice of cold drinks & stop for a chat with patients.
  • This is an unusual role and one that enables you to meet the patients in a particularly pleasant way. People are generally very pleased to see you!

What We're Looking For: 

Skills and qualities required:

  • Able to work on own initiative with a can do attitude.
  • An active listener.
  • Able to confidently communicate with a wide range of people at various levels.
  • Have the ability to set limits with others and be aware of professional boundaries.
  • An enthusiastic and passionate interest in hospice and end of life care.
  • Dress code should be smart and presentable.
  • Reliability and punctuality for your shift.
