Join our Cub Scout group as a Team Member and help give local children new opportunities and skills
As a Cubs Team Member, you will:
- support Cubs (aged 8-10) with activities, like swimming, music, days out and even camping!
- play a key role in preparing our young people to develop key skills that will shape their lives for the better.
Cubs meets once a week for 90 minutes each Wednesday evening. You can come as little as once a month or every week to help out, if you wish. No two meetings are the same - but the difference you will make, is always great.
Being a Cubs volunteer is incredibly rewarding. You'll be proving young people with new skills and opportunities to help set them up for life, as well as get to partcipate in lots of fun activities!
- Valuable transferable skills - team working, working under pressure, managing conflict, leadership and organisational skills.
- Fun practical skills - starting a fire, putting up a tent, climbing... the list is only constrained by our imagination and time!
We are looking for enthusiastic adults to help us deliver a fun programme for our Cubs. Whatever your skillset, this is a great opportunity to lend a hand (for as little or as much time), to the development of young people.
