What You'll Do:

At the shop you will be paired with one of our members with a learning disability or autism. You will support our members will all aspects of working in a charity shop, including using the till and customer service and spend time with them to review the skills they have learnt at the end of each shift.
You'll support and encourage them to complete the job/role they have been given for that specific day and encourage them to practice their social skills by interacting with the public in a polite and friendly manner. You will also encourage them to work as part of a team and engage socially with staff and volunteers present in the shop. You will build their confidence and encourage them to take on new challenges.
