Female Into School Session Volunteer for the Youth Service (e.g. cookery, well-being
Support to the Into School programme, which is designed for newly arrived migrant girls aged 11-19 who are out of education.
- Assist in planning and facilitating sessions (e.g. cookery or fitness) for girls or accompanying Baytree staff to offsite workshops. Collaborate with Baytree staff to ensure the success of offsite activities. You’ll assist facilitators with instruction and help guide the girls through the planned activities.
- Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal development.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that allows girls to express themselves, build confidence, and form positive relationships.

- Empathy and patience to work with girls of varying ages, backgrounds, and abilities, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with girls, other volunteers, and Baytree staff.
- Creativity and enthusiasm to develop and implement engaging activities that capture the girls’ interests and promote learning and growth.
- Reliability and commitment to attend scheduled sessions consistently.
