  • Consult the community: Engage with the student community to understand their perspectives and concerns regarding waste and recycling.
  • Feedback into Campaigns: Provide valuable insights and feedback to the main behaviour change campaign, helping to shape our initiatives based on student input.
Why You'll Love It:
  • Volunteering Hours: Log your work as volunteering hours and receive recognition through King's Volunteering.
  • Active Network: Join an active network of students through our Climate Action Network, collaborating with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability.
  • Skill Development: Gain skills in event coordination, community organising, and public speaking. Training opportunities will be provided to enhance your capabilities.
What You'll Learn:
  1. Event coordination: Learn how to plan, organise, and execute town halls and assemblies, including managing logistics and ensuring smooth operations.
  2. Community organising: Gain experience in mobilising and engaging the student community, fostering collaboration and participation.
  3. Public speaking: Improve your ability to communicate effectively in front of groups, presenting ideas and facilitating discussions.
  4. Leadership: Develop leadership skills by taking charge of events and guiding discussions, helping to shape the direction of sustainability initiatives.
  5. Research and analysis: Enhance your ability to gather, analyse, and interpret student feedback on waste management and sustainability issues.
  6. Advocacy: Learn how to advocate for sustainable practices and policies within the university, influencing change through student input.
