King's Language Centre
We strive to engage the King’s College London community and beyond in language learning and intercultural communication.
ABOUT US:

The Language Resources Centre provides a friendly environment for all King's and King's Language Centre students and staff wishing to engage in language learning. We are a specialist language library offering a wide variety of resources to help you develop reading skills, grammar and cultural understanding in the language you are learning.

During term time, we host student workshops and cultural events as well as one-to-one speaking practice sessions with native speakers from our staff and student volunteers. We aim to provide opportunity to learn, practice and make mistakes to support our language learners.

The Language Resources Centre is part of King's Language Centre and located in King's Building, level -1, Strand Campus.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS:

The speaking practice volunteering scheme provides a great opportunity for both the learners and volunteers. The learners will be able to practice speaking in more informal setting to improve their confidence and the volunteers find it rewarding as just being themselves can help others to learn about their language and culture.
