We are a small grassroots charity that does what we say we do. We provide a range of activities including dinners and deliveries of lunches, over 50's choir, christmas hamper scheme, befriending scheme, free music therapy for children with SEND, trips for families, carers group. Main of our activities are run by volunteers who are an important part of what we do.
Many people are isolated in our society today which covid made even worse. Loneliness often plays a huge part of this and can affect a person not just emotionally but physically as well. Our work is important as it provides the opportunity for people to mmet or speak to others. Our work reaches those that can be housebound at the end of their lives through the lunch delivery, those suffering from anxiety through our befriending and children with complex disabilities who love the enjoyment of music through our music therapy. All of these activities need volunteers to function.
We are looking for enthuastic people who are committed to the work we do.
We are a small grassroots charity that makes a direct difference to the people we work with. Whether people come to our monthly dinners, have a visit from a befriender or come to our monthly music therapy sessions their lives are changed by the activities and through meeting others. Volunteers are crucial to the running of this.

Our Opportunities
We are a registered charity that works with isolated older people and children and young people with SEND. We are running drama sessions in age appropriate groups. The sessions are run by qualified drama teachers. Volunteers support the children.
